• BT Diamond IP VP, Operations Michael Dooley and Product Management Director, Timothy Rooney, co-author IPv6 Deployment and Management book, which includes an introduction by Internet pioneer Vint Cerf.
• Sapphire version 5.0 is released.

2012

• BT Diamond IP launches its DNSSEC Resource Center as a collection of multi-media DNSSEC educational resources.
• Sapphire version 4.0 is introduced
• BT Diamond IP launches its IPv6 Resource Center as the first IPAM vendor in support of World IPv6 Launch announcement.

2011

• BT Diamond IP product management director authors second IPAM book, IP Address Management Principles and Practice 
• BT Diamond IP joins the Cisco Developer Network
• BT Diamond IP conducts groundbreaking IPv6 survey with over 500 respondents
• BT Diamond IP awarded a second IPAM patent
• BT Diamond IP expands presence in Malaysia, the Philippines and Turkey

2009

• BT Diamond IP receives a U.S. patent for its innovative container feature in IPControl

2007

• BT acquires INS and Diamond IP, resulting in greater breadth and reach of solutions
• BT retains the Diamond IP brand with BT Diamond IP offering new product branding
• BT Diamond IP introduces the Sapphire 5 series appliances for small-mid size offices
• IPControl 3.0 IPAM solution provides greater functionality, including reclaim, domain policies, IPv6 multi-allocation and more
• BT Diamond IP awarded the Network Testing Lab World Class Award for its Sapphire appliance line

2006

• Diamond IP introduces the Sapphire 20 series high-performance DHCP/DNS appliances
• The Sapphire 20 appliance is the first IPAM/DHCP/DNS appliance family with integrated IPMI, dual CPUs and power supplies as well as RAID-5 hard drives
• IPControl 2.2 introduces the first integrated discovery with reconciliation feature with database-network exception reporting.

• Diamond IP introduces the Sapphire 10 series DHCP/DNS appliances

• INS acquires Diamond IP

• Diamond IP Technologies founded
• Diamond IP releases ImageControl DOCSIS® firmware management software
