Core BT Diamond IP management team members possess extensive IP address management (IPAM) experience and expertise. Having played a substantial role in the genesis of the IPAM industry itself, this seasoned team has expanded the frontiers of IPAM technologies, practices and offerings, introducing numerous industry innovations over the last 15 years to help customers more easily manage their increasingly complex IPv4/IPv6 networks.
Rick became the Senior Vice President of BT Diamond IP in November 2007. He previously served as the Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel of BT INS. In this position he was responsible for the company’s legal matters, as well as being a key leader in BT INS’ corporate development activities. Before joining BT INS in January of 2006, he served as Senior Vice President of Administration at Proxim Corporation. From 1998 until 2003, Rick served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, M&A at Nortel Networks. Rick has also served in various leadership positions in business development, alliances and law at Bay Networks, Computer Associates, The ASK Group and Ingres Corporation. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law.
Michael is responsible for overall operations of the BT Diamond IP division. Prior to joining the team, he was President and CEO of Diamond IP Technologies, a company that was acquired by INS, and in turn by BT. Before Diamond IP Technologies was formed, Michael was Vice President of Operations for the VitalSoft line of software products at Lucent Technologies, and Vice President of Engineering at Quadritek Systems. Michael has more than 20 years of experience managing and developing large scale software products. He is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia.
Al brings over a decade of sales management and business development experience to his position as Vice President of Sales. Al spent 4 years as the Director of Sales for the VitalSoft software division of Lucent Technologies, where he had responsibility for Sales, Technical Services and Business Operations. During Al's time with VitalSoft, he helped increase yearly revenues from $20 million to over $70 million for the market-leading performance and IP management suites of software servicing Telecommunication, Service Provider and Enterprise customers. Al has held various positions in sales and management at Computer Associates, both at the Regional and National levels. Al holds a Bachelor of Science from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Alex has been working as an information technology professional since 1976. For the last 18 years, he has concentrated on networking. He has designed and built local and wide area data networks, supported telecommunication systems and integrated voice and data networks. During his tenure at BT Diamond IP, Alex has worked on the engineering development and market introduction of three next-generation IP management software systems: NetControl, IPControl and ImageControl. Alex attended Northeastern University.
Tim has worked with IP technologies in various capacities over the last 17 years, including systems engineering and development. He has an extensive background in IP, telecommunications, wireless services and software. Prior to joining BT Diamond IP, Tim worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Cingular, Triton PCS and Lucent, including a leadership role managing the VitalQIP software product to its peak as market leader. While at BT Diamond IP, Tim has managed the engineering development and market introduction of four next-generation IP management systems: NetControl, IPControl, Sapphire appliances and ImageControl. Tim has written two IPAM books and holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Engineering Sciences from Drexel and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
